PURPOSE:To minimize an initial equipment and to easily realize a future function extension by respectively sharing and executing a communication processing to an input and output device mainly by a basic processor and a call processing mainly by an extension processor. CONSTITUTION:A basic storage device 31 and the basic processor 21 are defined to be the basic equipment and at the time of adding the function, an extension storage device 32 and an extension processor 22 are added and installed. The basic storage device stores at least the program and the data of a cycle processing, the communication processing and the basic call processing and the extension storage device 32 stores the processing program and the data of the added and extended function. At the time of disposing the extension processor 22, the basic storage device 31 disconnects a connection to the basic processor 21 at a point C to change the connection to the extension processor 22, the basic processor 21 control the line circuits 11, 12... of peripheral input and output equipments and the extension processor 22 executes all the call processings. Thereby, an initial investment and an idle part can be reduced.
