PURPOSE:To manufacture a product, uniform and of good physical property without damages at high efficiency by heat softening a plastic sheet between far infrared rays heater plates, supporting the sheet hanging down with heat by a sheet receiving tube for circulating cooling water, and transferring the sheet to a vacuum molding machine and molding. CONSTITUTION:A plastic sheet 2 is brought into between upper and lower far infrared rays heat plates 1 and 5 with both ends of sheet width retained by a conveying chain 3, heat softened, transferred to a vacuum molding machine set on a molding station while being supported on the sheet receiving tube 4, and molded. At that time, a flexible hose 6 for cooling water connected with the sheet receiving tube 4 is provided, and the tube surface temperature of the sheet receiving tube 4 is controlled freely corresponding with the properties of the plastic sheet to be used by regulating the flow rate of circulating cooling water.
