PURPOSE:To prevent a weighing instrument from being affected by a vibration from a mounting surface by integrally forming the fixed base portion and the frame; the pan and the load receiver, respectively, of a parallelogram mechanism and integrally forming a balancer on the distal end of an auxiliary beam portion attached to an upper beam portion. CONSTITUTION:The fixed base portion 1d and the frame 3; the pan 4 and the load receiver 1e, respectively, all of a parallelogram mechanism 1A are integrally formed to form a rigid and shock-proof construction. One end of an auxiliary beam portion 5 is attached to the upper beam portion 1a of the parallelogram mechanism and the other end of the auxiliary beam portion 5 is extended toward the fixed base portion 1d. the distal end portion of the extended auxiliary beam portion 5 is integrally formed with a balancer 6 for balancing. The balancer 6 for balancing has such a mass as to produce a moment equal to that of the pan 4 acting on a load receiver 1e at the load receiver. Such construction enables a weighing instrument to be prevented from being affected by a low frequency vibration from a mounting surface.
