PURPOSE:To simply use an acceleration sensor by reducing the restriction of a mount method or the degree of flatness and use environment of a mount surface, by covering the whole of the piezoelectric element of the acceleration sensor with a grounded conductive elastic element. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric element 11 is formed by providing a vapor deposition electrode 11b and a base electrode 11c to both surfaces of piezoelectric ceramic 11a. The electrode 11b has the core wire 12a of a shield wire 12 connected thereto and is covered with an insulating film 13. The shield 12b of the wire 12 is connected to the electrode 11c. The element 11 thus constituted is further held between two conductive foamed polyurethanes 14, 15 being conductive elastomers to be received in a package 16. The polyurethane 14 is brought into contact with the electrode 11c to be earthed and the contact surfaces of the polyurethanes 14, 15 are adhered by a conductive adhesive material 17. By this constitution, the vibration or noise in a high frequency region can be removed and the effect of electrostatic or electromagnetic noise can be prevented and, therefore, simple use is made possible.
