PURPOSE:To assure a sufficient space for loading a cartridge and to permit connection in a range where the length of the shaft hole of a reel can be sufficiently covered at the time of connection by adapting respective connecting members in such a manner that the members can be moved independently in the axial direction between a prescribed connection position and non-connection position. CONSTITUTION:While the cartridge A is held pressed and supported by a presser 26 from the left side, the tapered end of a 1st connecting member 10 advances into the shaft hole of the reel and advances further into the inside of the shaft hole until the projecting part 15 of the 1st moving member 13 contacts a 1st stopper 24. The 1st connecting member 10 continues to rotate in the normal connection position. The cartridge M receives pressing force in the direction of a cartridge receiving surface 1A by the presser 26 and moves the 2nd moving member 21 toward the left until the member contacts the 2nd stopper 24. Then, the 2nd connecting member 6 moves to the left and projects from the surface 1A. A driving pin 19 engages with a pin hole while sliding on the base of a cylindrical recess. The 2nd connecting member rotates the reel by means of the driving pin 19. The sure connection is thereby executed.
