PURPOSE:To improve living environment, save energy and provide a superior sanitary state by a method wherein surrounding atmosphere is passed into a hollow structure buried in a ground, heat exchanged with a temperature of ground, passed through a filter to make a clean and dehumidified air and then a fresh air is fed into a room. CONSTITUTION:A hollow structure 1 is composed of a bottom part 3 having water drip holes 11 and upper lid 2, and a suction port 4 and blowing port 5 projected out of the ground. The upper lid 6 covered in the suction port 4 prevents rain water from entering the suction port. The upper surface of air collecting box 7 fitted over the blowing port 5 is covered by the removable upper lid 8 to facilitate a cleaning of a filter 9. The filter device 9 is arranged within the air collecting box, a warm ground air changed to an underground temperature is filtered and dehumidified to make a new fresh air. Surrounding air is sucked as indicated by an arrow under operation of a fan F, passed in a hollow structure 1 and discharged into the blowing port 5. With this arrangement, in summer the temperature of air is lower than the open air and in winter a hot and warm heated condition can be attained.
