The invention relates to a hairdressing implement (1; 100) having a hollow body (2) which has openings (14, 15) and is rotatable for rolling up, shaping and drying hair, which hollow body can be driven by a motor (4) arranged in a housing (3) designed as a handle. The invention is based on the object of providing a hairdressing implement of this generic type, which is distinguished compared to the known devices of the prior art by a considerably reduced weight and a considerably lower sound intensity, and which rules out direct blowing of hot air onto the scalp.
