摘要

Cis-4-amino 5-chloro 2-methoxy N- (1-3(4-fluoro-phenoxy) propyl 3-methoxy 4-piperidyl) benzamide, for pharmaceutical use in promoting digestive motility and accelerating evacuation of solid and semi-solid foods without affecting gastric secretions, is made by reaction of 4-amino 5-chloro 2-methoxy benzoic acid with 4-amino 1-(3-(4-fluorophenoxy) propyl) 3-methoxy piperidine, using a condensing agent, e.g. dicyclohexyl carbodiimide.
