PURPOSE:To facilitate ignition and improve igniting performance, by a method wherein the ignition is effected by operating a fuel controller to change the concentration of fuel while keeping the amount of ventilation constant. CONSTITUTION:When the flow of water is detected by a water amount detecting device 2, a fan 10 is turned once in the maximum revolving speed for about 2sec utilizing a fan controlling and driving means 14 and, thereafter, the rotating number of the fan 10 is held in the rotating number suitable to ignition (fan ignition rotation). Thereafter, electric discharge is effected from an igniting device or an igniting plug 13 by the signal of a controller 16. Then, a gas solenoid valve 7 is opened. Thereafter, a gas proportional valve 8 is operated by employing a proportional valve driving means 15 to change the supplying amount of gas between 'large' and 'small'. When the ignition is detected, the operation follows a subsequent sequence. For safety, the sequence is started from the initial sequence again when ignition is not detected during a predetermined period of time. |
