PURPOSE:To permit connection in which the length of the shaft hole of a reel is sufficiently covered at the time of connection by using rotating cam means for moving the connecting member corresponding to the kind of the reel of a loaded cartridge. CONSTITUTION:Cam grooves 71, 72 of a cam 70 are provided in a 180 deg. range. A pin 65, i.e., a rod 64, engaging with the cam groove 71 is delivered to the left and a lever 62 turns toward the left. A projecting part 15 of a 1st moving member advances to the position 15' shown by an alternate long and two short dashes line, by which the 1st connecting member of American National Institute, Inc. ANSI type is connected. A signal of the cartridge of 3M's M type rotates the cam 70 counterclockwise and the 2nd connecting member is connected when said cartridge is loaded. The sure connection is thereby permitted; in addition, the movement by the wrong connecting member as a result of a malfunction is prevented.
