PURPOSE:To improve accelerating performance by operating the solenoid valve of a speed change clutch to be engaged next at the point of time when a speed change command is issued and turning off the solenoid value of a lock-up clutch at the point of time of confirming the end of a filling time. CONSTITUTION:At the point of time when a speed change clutch is engaged with a first gear, as a speed change command to the second gear stage to be selected next is outputted from an automatic speed change control part 102, a clutch control part 103 operates a pressure control valve 92. At this point of time, the inside of the clutch pack of a clutch 32 is kept in a low pressure condition, which is maintained for a defined period of time (filling time). From the point of time of the end of this filling time, the oil pressure of the second gear clutch 32 is gradually increased while the oil pressure of a first gear clutch 31 is lowered down to zero. Thereby, speed change can be carried out without generating a loss time due to the filling time. |
