PURPOSE:To prevent a shock force from being applied and extend the life by allowing a valve body to slide in a valve guide to open or close a fluid passage formed on the valve guide in a check valve controlling a fluid in the pipeline of a machine device or the like. CONSTITUTION:A valve guide 2 is fitted to a valve box 1, and a fluid passage 10 is provided on the valve guide 2. A valve body 3 fitted with a seal ring 4 having a T-shaped cross section is vertically moved in the valve guide 2 to open or close a fluid passage 10. A valve body weight holding spring 5 and a shock absorbing spring 6 are brought into contact with the upper end section of a valve rod 9. A passage 11 communicated to the secondary side is formed on the valve body 3, and the seal ring 4 is closely stuck to the valve guide 2. Accordingly, the valve body 3 is only slid in the valve guide 2 and receives no shock force, and the life is extended.
