PURPOSE:To prevent the brake squeak by effectively suppressing the resonance of a brake disc on brake application by installing a dynamic vibration absorber having the resonance frequency nearly equal to the prescribed resonance frequency of a disc part onto the disc part of a disc. CONSTITUTION:As for a dynamic vibration absorber A installed onto all or several pieces of ventilating holes 3, 3... on the disc part 2 of a brake disc D, the weight of a weight 4 and each spring constant of rubber pieces 5 and 5 are selected so that the resonance frequency nearly equal to a prescribed resonance frequency of the brake disc is generated. In order to apply brake onto the revolving brake disc D, frictional pads are pressed onto the both side surfaces of the disc part 2, and when the vibration generated by the sliding friction between the both reaches the resonance frequency of the brake disc, the disc part 2 tends to resonate, but the dynamic vibration absorber A having the resonance frequency nearly equal to the resonance frequency of the brake disc resonates, and the resonance of the disc part 2 can be suppressed by the resonance action of the dynamic vibration absorber A.
