PURPOSE:To suppress the amplitude of vibration mode which occurs to a floppy disk in different position to a constant small level at a position close to a magnetic head, and to stabilize writing and reading operation by varying pressure according to the position on a jacket. CONSTITUTION:A floppy disk presser 2 is provided close to a read/write window 1. This floppy disk presser 2 consists of a pressing plate 4 and springs 7, which have different spring constants K1-Kn. Consequently, the floppy disk presser 2 generates different pressure according to the position from the center O of rotation to reduce the oscillation of the floppy disk near the magnetic head. |
