With the proposed measuring device, the actual temperature within the rubber body can be measured on a pneumatic tyre at any time, even continuously during operation, at previous specified points. This takes place in such at way that the temperature-dependent electrical resistance of inserted metal braided conductors is determined with the aid of an external measuring device. In this arrangement, total, sectoral or zonal temperature values can be determined with respect to the tread of the tyre.
