PURPOSE:To accurately observe a signal waveform by providing a circuit which adjusts an input brightness signal automatically so that a beam for signal display on the CRT of a synchroscope has intensity shown by a specific formula, and displaying even a signal waveform which has a part where the signal voltage varies abruptly so that the part is clear on the screen. CONSTITUTION:The circuit is provided which adjusts the brightness signal inputted to the CRT automatically so that the beam for signal display on the CRT of the synchroscope has the intensity shown by the formula [where A0 is the intensity of a horizontal beam, A1 unit beam intensity (constant), V an observation voltage, and (t) time]. Consequently, the brightness is increased in correspondence to the value of the variation rate of the signal voltage, so the brightness is made high at the part where the signal voltage varies abruptly than any other part. Consequently, even the signal waveform which has the part where the signal voltage varies abruptly is displayed so that part is clear, thereby accurately observing the signal waveform.
