PURPOSE:To continuously change speed by continuously moving the mutually opposite tapered parts of two taper type shafts in the axial direction and varying the position of a relay shaft which connects both taper type shafts. CONSTITUTION:The ends of an input shaft 1 and an output shafts 9 are formed into a large taper shape and opposed to each other, and a roller 3 with a size equal to the ratio of both shafts relays the rotation of both shafts at the contacting part between each one or plural number of both shafts. Thereby, the rotation from the input shaft 1 is transmitted to the output shaft 9 through the medium of the relay shaft 3 and the difference in rotation between input and output is generated by the position of the relay shaft 3.
