PURPOSE:To avoid the need of a large capacity electric power source and a protecting device by determining the relative position between a static side magnet and a revolution shaft by an electric strain element and reducing the consumed electric power. CONSTITUTION:Two cylindrical permanent magnets 2 and 3 which has the direction of magnetic flux in the radial direction and possesses the opposite polarity are prepared, and the permanent magnet 2 is installed onto a rotary shaft 1, and the permanent magnet 3 is installed onto a static part 7 as casing through the electric strain elements 4 arranged at equal intervals on the circumference. Therefore, the position of the static side permanent magnet 3 can be shifted by the electric strain element 4 installed as a positioning device. Therefore, the supporting force for the rotary shaft 1 is adjusted by varying the relative position between the both permanent magnets 2 and 3 by controlling the electric strain element 4, and the vibration of the rotary shaft 1 is controlled, and the consumed electric power can be reduced, and the need of a large capacity electric power source and protecting device can be avoided.
