PURPOSE:To form uniform particles by operating alternating field according to graining frequency to the column of magnetic ink, by providing the means for generating magnetic field to the nozzle discharging the column of magnetic ink of drop generator. CONSTITUTION:When the liquid of magnetic ink is fed from the ink feed port 4 of a body 3 to an ink chamber 9, the column of magnetic ink is formed by a nozzle 7. Then, alternating voltage is applied to an electric conductor pattern 10 with a power source 8. In that case, the positive or negative arrow directional alternating magnetic field passing through the nozzle 7 is generated and acts on the column of magnetic ink. Therefore, because the direction acting on the column of magnetic ink is alternately changed, constricted parts are generated and the number of pieces of ink particles corresponding to the frequency of power source 8 are formed. |
