PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having the excellent anti-diffusion property, and having sufficient high color image density and having a rapid crosslinking reaction rate to gelatin by incorporating an aqueous polymer having a specific repeating unit in the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains at least one or more kinds of the aqueous polymers having the repeating units having formulas I and II respectively. In formula I, A is a vinyl monomer unit contg. a color coupler residual group capable of forming a dye by coupling with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing agent. In formula II, R1 is hydrogen atom, etc., Q is -CO2-, etc., L is -CO2-, etc., R2 is -CH=CH2, etc., X is a group capable of substituting with a nucleophilic group or a group capable of releasing HX by a base. The representative examples of the monomeric couplers capable of affording the repeating units (the coupler units) shown by formulas I and II are shown by formulas I-1 and II-1. |
