The invention relates to a vehicle headlamp which has a parabolic reflector which has an apex opening for a lamp (bulb) and carries behind its apex opening a lamp-holder device. The lamp-holder device has a guide element, perpendicular to the optical axis of the reflector, both for receiving a central flange of the lamp and for the displaceable reception of two semi-caps which can be displaced in a guide between a closed position, in which the two semi-caps are radially engaged with the lamp bottom and axially with the lamp flange for blocking the flange with respect to the guide, and an opened position in which the two semi-caps form between themselves an opening for the passage of the lamp flange.
