Bolt lock

In the case of a bolt lock for hinged platform gates of commercial vehicles, the bolt member, which can be operated via a toggle joint (12, 17, 18, 20 and 12, 17', 18', 20'), is designed as an elastic, expandable member. In this connection, the bolt member comprises a sleeve (26; 26') in which a pin (22; 22') is mounted such that it can be displaced longitudinally. At its bolting end the sleeve has a cone (33; 33') via which locking lugs, formed on the sleeve by means of the pin (22; 22'), reach behind a hole (34; 34') in a stake (35; 35'). The locking lugs (31; 31') sit at the ends of elastic fingers (30; 30') which are formed by slits (29; 29') incorporated crosswise into the sleeve (26; 26'). <IMAGE>
