PURPOSE:To improve operation efficiency by providing a joint member capable of free spline coupling with a shaft to be measured, fixing a magnetic body to a cylindrical part formed by extending its boss part, and mounting a housing part on its outer periphery. CONSTITUTION:A split shaft part 12 is formed nearby an end part of one cut shaft 10 to be measured and a screw groove 16 is cut at an end part 14; and a female-side spline groove 22 is cut in the boss part 20 of a flange joint member 18, a shaft 12 is inserted into it, and the end part 14 is clamped and fixed with a nut 24. The boss 20 has a hollow cylindrical part 28 formed facing a flange part 26 at the tip side and the beltlike amorphous magnetic body 30 is fixed to the entire periphery of the outer peripheral surface. Further, the spline shaft part of the other shaft 36 to be measured is fixed to a flange joint 34 of similar structure and the member 18 and joint 34 are coupled through flange parts 26 and 46. Therefore, when torque is applied between the shaft 10 and 36 to be measured, it is transmitted to the cylindrical part 28 to cause magnetic strain in the magnetic body 30. Further, the housing body 64 is mounted covering the magnetic body 30 and a detection coil 96 is fitted in it. |
