PURPOSE:To accurately sample granular accumulation without disordering its accumulation state by injecting a medium into the granular accumulation, and the adding a curing agent and freezing the injected medium, and thus fixing the granular accumulation. CONSTITUTION:A proper amount of the medium such as water is injected into the granular accumulation 1 consisting of an accumulation layer of, for example, sintered mineral and coke at a part 2 to be sampled, thereby sticking the water 6 on a contact point part between a particle 5 and a particle 5. The water is made to penetrate the accumulation layer 3 sufficiently and the curing agent such as liquefied nitrogen is added by a proper amount. Consequently, the water 6 sticking on the contact point between the particle 5 and particle 5 is frozen 7 instantaneously to fix the whole of the sampled part 2. This frozen fixed accumulation 4 is taken out to easily obtain its granular accumulation state, e.g. the accumulation amount rate of the sintered mineral and coke and further data on the granularity, the kind of the particles, etc., by applying water and unfreezing the sample 4.
