ENERGIZATION TRANSFER RECORDING HEAD

摘要

PURPOSE:To realize minute formation of recording electrodes and improve energization properties by forming recording electrodes through application of hard chromium plating to a recording electrode pattern. CONSTITUTION:A ceramics consisting mainly of Al2O2 and MgO is used as a material for a printing head substrate 2, and a primary layer plating 3 which serves as a negative electrode consists of an electroless Ni-P plating applied on the substrate 2. Next, a negative pattern for a recording electrode is created. Then the electroless Ni-P plating is subjected to etching to form a recording electrode pattern. Following this procedure, a hard chromium plating is deposited on the electroless Ni-P pattern 3 to form a recording electrode 4. A recording head manufactured in this way has improved energization properties because of the realized minute formation of the recording electrode.
