PURPOSE:To eliminate the breakage of an electrode takeoff connection member and its deterioration and to improve the efficiency, by setting the electrode takeoff connection in a vibration-proof structure which is most sensitive to ultrasonic vibration. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic motor 1 is composed of a piezoelectric element 2, an elastic body 3, an electrode takeoff connection as a supporting member 4, a pedestal 5, a base plate 6, a sliding substance 7, a moving substance 8 made up of a body of revolution, a bearing 9, a coil spring 10 and its stopper 11. The abovementioned elastic body 3 is formed into an annular ring body made of stainless steel, etc., where kerfs 3a are provided at equal intervals on the upper surface in order to excite the plane wave progressive wave efficiently, to which the piezoelectric element 2 is integrally stuck to constitute a stator section. To a part of the side of this elastic body an electrode takeoff connection member 14 of vibration-proof structure 12 is installed. This member 14 is composed of conductive rubber 13 and holds a metal ball 16 where a lead wire 14 is fitted. The breakage of the electrode takeoff connection member can thereby be prevented. |
