PURPOSE:To cut an FRP molded form at a predetermined position in a short time by forming a recessed groove in a position corresponding to the section of cutting of FRP laminated on the surface section of a molding die while blocking said recessed groove by a blocking member capable of being cut. CONSTITUTION:A recessed groove 2 is formed the the peripheral section 1a of the surface of a molding die 1, and blocked by a blocking member 4. Glass fiber and a thermo-setting resin are laminated on the surface of the molding die 1 in a prescribed thickness. Consequently, the peripheral section 5a of an FRP molded form 5 is formed to the upper section of the recessed groove 2. The blocking member 4 is cut open by the edge section 6a of a cutter knife 6 and the inside of the recessed groove 2 is cut in when the FRP molded form 5 is brought to a semirigid state. The unnecessary peripheral section 5a of the FRP molded form 5 is cut off while the edge 6a is guided into the recessed groove 2 under that state. According to the method, trimming can be conducted in a short time, and no dust, etc., is also generated.
