The concrete shuttering sytem, especially for making an inspection pit for an underground pipe, consists of a U-shaped flexible partition (1) with walls (1a-c) pleated concertina-fashion so they can follow different shapes, with transverse reinforcing panels (2) to keep the walls rigid while the concrete is setting. The panels (2a) at the ends of the shuttering have cylindrical elements (3) to join onto the underground pipe. ADVANTAGE - Allows pipes at an angle to one another to be joined by bends of various radii.
