This wound closing (covering) device partially consists of a straight surgical wound zipper, two strips of textile cloth and connecting link rows with a closing slipper. The device is made of low elasticity polyester or polyamide strips, used for ordinary textile zippers for clothes and compression-proofed connection links. At a certain distance from the connecting links distance strips making a space above the wound are laid out on the supporting strips on the wound side. The part of the device where the zipper is mounted on the skin is made from sticky strips, covered with an adhering layer on the wound side, which does not irritate the skin. The supporting strips are covered with those sticky strips, at least in the area of the supporting strips. These sticky strips may be wider than the wound side as they need to maintain the resistance of zipped wound edges against cross tension powers. A method for using this device is provided. |
