PURPOSE:To improve the starting torque and the efficiency of a DC linear motor and to produce smooth thrust by using a field magnet as a movable element and an armature formed of armature coil group as a stator. CONSTITUTION:A 5-pole field magnet in which N- and S-poles are alternately provided is arranged in a movable magnetic yoke 7 to form a movable element, which is composed movably along a base 1 via drive rollers 8. An armature which has armature coil 3 group wound with conductor units 3a, 3b which contribute to the thrust is arranged on the field magnet as a stator. Further, a position detector is opposed to the field magnet at the armature side. |
