A lawn-mower having two cutting members provided on parallel, mainly horizontal shafts arranged transversally to the direction of travel of the lawn-mower, and which in cooperation with each other by mutual motion causes the cutting of the grass, which instantaneously is present in the area between the cooperating cutting members, wherein one of said shafts (9) is driven and equipped with cutting members in form of a number of oblique formations (12) projecting from the envelope surface of the shaft, and the circumferential portion (13) of which, at rotation of said shaft, gives a reciprocating cutting motion against the envelope surface of the second shaft (14), which serves as cutting member. |
