PURPOSE:To provide a titled member which is light in weight, is highly resistant to thermal impact and is hardly deformed by thermal strain even after mirror polishing of the surface by brazing thin sheet materials constituted of any among Mo, Mo alloy, W, and W alloy on both faces of an Al alloy core material contg. 45-85wt.% Si. CONSTITUTION:The coefft. of thermal expansion decreases relatively if an Al-Si alloy is selected as an Al alloy and the content of Si in the Al-Si alloy is increased to 45-85wt.%.This Al-Si alloy is used as the core material in order to reduce the weight and the thin sheet materials constituted of may among the Mo, Mo alloy, W, and W alloy having relatively the small coefft. of thermal expansion are brazed to both faces of such core material. The thermal strain generated at the time of surface polishing is suppressed to a considerably low level in the lighter composite brazing member obtd. in such a manner and, therefore, the deformation such as warpage is hardly generated.
