摘要 A method of chromatographic analysis of mixture of liquid substances in which a sample of the substances is injected to an inlet portion of a chromatographic column wherethrough a flow of carrier gas is conveyed entraining vapors of the substances from the column to a detector. According to one feature of the invention, the flow of carrier gas is divided into two parts; one part of the flow being conveyed at the point of sample injection and during its separation through the column in a direction from the inlet to the outlet, whereas in the detector this part of the flow of carrier gas is conveyed through the column in a direction from the outlet to the inlet. The second part of the flow of carrier gas is continuously passed through the detector. A gas chromatograph comprises an injector having a passage for introducing the sample connected to a pipe for feeding a carrier gas, a chromatographic column, a detector, and a means for sealing this passage. The gas chromatograph further comprises an additional pipe for feeding the carrier gas connected to the outlet from the column, a flow restrictor of constant cross-section secured at the outlet from the detector, and a gas pressure regulator arranged in the additional pipe.
