PURPOSE:To easily know the single accuracy or double accuracy of numerical value of arithmetic results by displaying a symbol of the double accuracy arithmetic in case an operation mode is switched to a double accuracy arithmetic mode. CONSTITUTION:Data supplied from a keyboard 2 is stored in an input buffer of a RAM 6 via a CPU 4. Then the data contents are decided and the presence or absence of a double accuracy indication code is decided as long as said data contents are not coincident with the numerical value nor an arithmetic key code. If the double accuracy indication code is confirmed, a double accuracy arithmetic symbol is displayed at a display part 3 and at the same time a double accuracy arithmetic mode is set. Hereafter, the data supplied from the keyboard 2 is once supplied to said input buffer and a double accuracy arithmetic program is called out of a ROM 5 for execution of the double accuracy arithmetic if those input data are coincident with the numerical value and an arithmetic key code. |
