PURPOSE:To attain the transmission/reception automatically by designating a terminal equipment in the automatic incoming enable in applying data communication while using public automatic telephone system. CONSTITUTION:At first, a terminal equipment 4 comprising a computer or the like is operated to designate the equipment to be enabled for automatic incoming. A microprocessor 8 supervises the presence of an incoming call of an incoming display line A to attain telephone the connection between the public automobile telephone set 1 and an external line via hook switch lines B1, B2 in the presence of the incoming signal. In such a case, when the automatic incoming enable is designated, a changeover switch 7 is operated by using a switching signal from a line switching control line C, a voice reception line D1 and a voice transmission line E1 from the transmitting-receiving section 3 are switched from a contact (a) to (b) of the switch 7 to be connected to a MODEM circuit 6 thereby starting communication. Thus, the communication is applied automatically in during driving or absence. |
