PURPOSE:To carry out hydroformylation of olefin, by hydroformylating on olefin in a catalytic solution containing Rh and a trivalent organic phosphorus compound oxide, oxidizing a residual solution after distillation of aldehyde with an olefin peroxide and circulating the solution to the hydroformylation reaction system. CONSTITUTION:An olefin is hydroformylated in a catalytic solution containing Rh and a trivalent organic phosphorus compound oxide, a trivalent organic phosphorus compound is added to the reaction mixture, which is distilled to give an aldehyde. On the other hand, a residual solution is oxidized with an olefin peroxide, the organic phosphorus compound is converted into an oxide and circulated to the hydroformylation reaction system. The oxidation condition is that the equivalent of the peroxide based on 1mol. organic phosphorus compound is 10-200, temperature T is 0-100 deg.C and treatment time is 0.5X10<1.9-0.0225>T-60X10<1.9-0.0225>Tmin. By the above-mentioned method, activity reduction in Rh catalyst in hydroformylation reaction can be effectively suppressed. |
