PURPOSE:To prevent the undesired execution of a test function or a demonstration function by carrying out these functions only when a specific key is operated within a fixed time after application of a power supply. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply is applied, a simple check is given to a CPU and a memory after an initializing process and an opening message is displayed. Then a key scanning job is started and the key codes inputted within a fixed time after display of the opening message are stored in a key buffer. Then the codes stored in the key buffer are confirmed after lapse of the fixed time. If the codes 'shift + T' are confirmed, the operation is jumped to a test routine. While the operation is jumped to a demonstration routine with the codes 'shift + D'. When these inputs are not detected, the key buffer and a screen are cleared and a main processing routine is started. |
