PURPOSE:To easily support the intention determination of equipment maintaining operation by an input device which inputs information regarding equipment maintenance, etc., an arithmetic processor which diagnoses the state of the equipment maintenance with an operator's indication, and an output device. CONSTITUTION:Input information 1 such as equipment and component information and fault and maintenance history information and an operator's request or indication 2 are stored in a storage device 5 through the input device 3 and arithmetic processor 4. The arithmetic processor 4 retrieves and processes statistically the information stored in the storage device 5 and analyzes its reliability. Further, the rank of the state of equipment maintenance is set according to information regarding the reliability and life of equipment and components and information regarding the maintenance easiness and trouble influence degree of the equipment and components obtained by said functions. The information required for the equipment maintenance control which is obtained from this arithmetic processor 4 is displayed on an output device 6.
