PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a pressure control valve by defining the receiving part for the feedback liquid pressure as an annular pressure receiving part, i.e., a diameter differential part between a large diameter land and a small diameter land formed at the outer circumference part of the large diameter land. CONSTITUTION:A pressure control valve A connected to a pump pressure circuit P, a pressure control circuit S and a drain circuit D within a liquid pressure control circuit. The valve A consists of a valve body 1, a valve spool 2, a solenoid 3, an end cover 4, a subplate 5, etc. The body 1 forms the main body of the valve A and contains a valve hole 11, 1st and 2nd back pressure rooms 13 and 14, a drain hole 15, 1st-4th female lands 121-124, etc. The spool 2 includes a feedback liquid path 23, an annular pressure receiving part 24 and a level difference part 27. The part 27 contains a feedback liquid pressure room 116 has a feedback port (recess part) 114 depressed by the level differences 117 and 118. Thus, the stable feedback liquid pressure is obtained.
