PURPOSE:To easily analyze and measure sound pressure frequency characteristics and a spectrum by putting an oscillator, a sound pressure gauge, and a spectrum analyzer in one compact body. CONSTITUTION:When a signal sound is a sine wave, a sound inputted from a microphone 1 is inputted to a sound pressure detecting circuit and its value is displayed on a sound pressure level display device 2. The sound pressure frequency characteristics of the whole listening room including an audio system at the position of a microphone 1 can be measured by varying the frequency of the sine wave. A measurement is taken similarly while the microphone 1 is put at different position, thereby finding a listening point where the sound pressure frequency characteristic are flat. When the signal sound is a composite sound of sine waves of frequencies responding to respective spectra, the sound inputted from the microphone 1 is analyzed instantaneously by a spectrum analyzing circuit and displayed on a spectrum display device 3.
