发明名称 CARRIAGE MECHANISM FOR FLOPPY DISK DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To stabilize a contact force between a lead screw and a needle, and to improve the traveling precision of a carriage by attaching a coil spring member at parts of a leaf spring and of the carriage. CONSTITUTION:When the lead screw 14 is driven to rotate by a stepping motor 13, the carriage 10 is moved toward the radial direction of a disk through the needle 16 in contact with the groove of the lead screw 14, and a magnetic head 11 is made to seek. One end of the coil spring 18 is joined to the tip of the leas spring member 17, and another end of the spring 18 is joined to the extension part 10a of the carriage 10, and the needle 16 is brought into contact with the groove 15 of the lead screw 14 by the pressing force of the leaf spring member 17, to which the weight of the spring 18 is added under the constant contact force. Thus, a situation that the needle 16 disengages from the groove 15 of the lead screw 14 can be prevented, and the traveling precision of the carriage 10 can be improved.
