PURPOSE:To make it possible to rapidly heat the bathroom or the shower room in its entirety of a home in winter season and to control the indoor temperature by a shower by heating to raise the temperature of the bathroom or the shower room by steam generated from a steam generator and controlling an opening or closing valve of an atomizing shower nozzle by a signal. CONSTITUTION:A steam generator 2 is operated by manipulating an outdoor controller 4 to fill the inside of a bathroom or a shower room with steam ejected into the room such as the bathroom or the shower room through a steam ejection port 3, and to raise the room temperature to a desired temperature preset in the temperature controller 4, thus performing rapid space heating of the entire indoor space. When the room temperature is raised to a temperature higher than the preset temperature, the operation of the steam generator 2 is stopped and an opening or closing valve 6 connected to the atomizing shower nozzle 5 to allow the nozzle 5 to eject mist of minute water drops to lower the room temperature. When the room temperature falls below the preset temperature, the atomizing shower is stopped and the operation of the steam generator 2 is started. The title space heater is provided with the above- mentioned function of the automatic temperature control.
