PURPOSE:To save and reduce sliding parts such as balls, etc. by forming the lower rail of the captioned device with a recessed part in the center and projecting parts on both sides while, on the other hand, forming the upper rail which is slidable on said lower rail into nearly U-shaped section parts each having a curl part which is brought into contact with the top part of each of said projecting parts. CONSTITUTION:A seat slide device 15 has a lower rail 17 which is fixed to a vehicle body side via a bracket 16 and an upper rail 19 which is slidably supported on the lower rail 17 and on which a belt anchor 18 is partly fixed. In this case, the lower rail 17 consists of a recessed part 21 in the center and projecting parts 22 on both sides of it. On the other hand, nearly U-shaped section parts 24 each having a curl part 23 which is brought into contact with the top wall of each projecting part 22 are provided on the side parts of the upper rail 19. And, the bottom parts of the side walls 25 of the lower rail 17 are opposed to the bottom walls of the U-shaped parts 24 of the upper rail 19, while both rails 17, 19 are opposed to each other via rollers 26.... Also, a lock device 20 is provided on the side part of the upper rail 19. |
