PURPOSE:To manage movement of money among plural storage places by providing keys which designate the money storage place of the payment source and that of the receipt destination. CONSTITUTION:An ECR consists of a CPU 5, a cashbox 1, a keyboard 6 on which a bank drawing-out key 61, a bank deposit key 62, an intermediate recovery key 63, a preparatory money key 64, and ten keys 65 are provided, and a RAM 10 where the total amount 101 of money of sale, the amount 10 of money in the cashbox, and the amount 103 of money in a safe are recorded. The key 61 is operated when receipt of cash from a bank to the safe is registered, and the key 62 is operated when money deposit in the bank from the safe is registered. The key 63 is operated when storage of intermediate recovery money from the cashbox 1 into the safe is registered, and the key 64 is operated when storage of preparatory money into the cashbox from the safe is registered. The keys 65 are operated when data of the amount of money of payment and receipt is inputted.
