<p>PURPOSE:To generate each auxiliary discharge stably and to realize a more simple assembly process and lower cost, by a method wherein, a pair of auxiliary discharge electrodes is disposed in the vicinity of a pair of printing electrodes, and one of the pair auxiliary discharge electrodes is made of a high-resistivity material to obtain a pattern structure increasing the value of resistance. CONSTITUTION:On the reverse side of a front substrate 13, a strip printing anode 17 having a permeability is disposed and an auxiliary discharge electrode 18 generating an auxiliary discharge is also disposed. The auxiliary discharge electrode 18 consists of an auxiliary cathode 19, a resistant electrode 20, and an auxiliary anode 21. The auxiliary cathode 19 consists of a common part 190 and discharge parts 191-193.... The auxiliary anode 21 consists of discharge parts 211-213... and resistant electrodes 201-203.... The resistant electrodes 201-203... are made of a material with a high resistivity and provided with a patter structure increasing the value of resistance. Therefore, each auxiliary discharge can be generated stably without concentration of current to the auxiliary discharge electrode which is easy to discharge. Furthermore, in assembling, since the need for connecting resisting elements to the auxiliary discharge electrode separately is eliminated, no more than two pieces of the auxiliary discharge electrode need to be taken out side.</p> |
