PURPOSE:To miniaturize a driving transistor and enable the common use of a device with other vehicle types by connecting a room lamp and a door switch in series in between a power source and an earth while connecting a dimming controller for said room lamp to one point in between said room lamp and said door switch. CONSTITUTION:A room lamp 3 and a door switch 4 are connected in series in between a power source 1 and an earth 2. Also, a door switch detecting part 5 for detecting the on/off of the door switch 4 is provided. And, a room lamp driving control part 6 which dims the room lamp 3 when a door is closed based on the detected result of the detecting part 5 is connected to one point P between the room lamp 3 and the door switch 4. Thereby, the heat generation of a driving transistor for lighting the room lamp 3 can be reduced. Also, at the time of the manufacture of a vehicle type in which the room lamp 3 is not dimmed, the wiring of a short cord for connecting the room lamp 3 to the door switch 4 can be eliminated.
