PURPOSE:To obtain a composition, consisting of an imine synthesized from an organosilicon compound and organic carbonyl compound and isocyanate, having excellent storage stability at room temperature for a long period and useful as a coating agent for suppressing corrosion, oxidation of substrates, etc. CONSTITUTION:A composition containing (A) an imine synthesized from an organosilicon compound having an aminoalkyl group and alkoxy group (e.g. aminomethyltriethoxysilane) and an organic carbonyl compound (e.g. methyl ethyl ketone or benzaldehyde) and (B) an isocyanate (e.g. 2,4-toluene diisocyanate) in an amount to provide normally 0.4-10 equivalents isocyanate groups based on 1 equivalent amino group in the organosilicon compound. The composition is capable of curing and forming effective films by applying to the surface of various substrates and curing with moisture existing in the air or some heating.
