PURPOSE:To use a dynamic RAM whose unit cost is low, without providing a control circuit on the outside, by generating a timing signal, etc. which the dynamic RAM necessities, by a one-chip microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A one-chip microcomputer 1 checks through a terminal 3 whether a data is sent from a host computer connected to an input terminal 3 or not. When the data is sent, its data is received, and a processing for writing it to a dynamic RAM 2b is executed. In this case, as for all signals of RAS, CAS, etc. which the RAM 2b necessites, the microcomputer 1 generates them by a software. Also, at the time of a refresh processing, and a data sending-out timing to a printer device, each processing is executed, but with regard to a multiplexer of an address of read-out of the data from the RAM 2b of this time and RAS and CAS signals, etc., as well, the microcomputer 1 generates them by a software.
