PURPOSE:To contrive toward improvements in stability, uniformity and durability, by setting up a molding flask consisting of the screen subjected to masking, on a disc grindstone base plate, filling a mixed material containing an abrasive material and a bonding agent, and heating and baking it. CONSTITUTION:After a stone base plate 1 is set on a printing bench 2, a screen mesh 3, consisting of stainless steel, its mesh interval is 217mum or so, and formed with a masking layer 4 other than a stone layer forming part, is covered on the stone base plate 1 in rotation. Next, for example, paste ink 5 of 30.3 in diamond abrasive grain, 9.1 in chromium oxide, 30.3 in stone phenol resin and 30.3 in butyl lactone or so in terms of wt% is supplied onto the screen mesh 3, and a stone layer 7 is formed in the specified position of the stone base plate 1 with screen printing by a shim blade 6, heating and baking it, thus a disc grindstone 8 is produced. Thus, stability and uniformity in the disc grindstone are secured and, what is more, durability is also improved as much as about 2.3 times over the conventional one.
