The present invention concerns an appliance 34 for treating a roadway, designed to be connected in a releasable manner to a vehicle via means 32 and comprising an elongate body 14 whose opposite long sides are equipped with treatment members 26 and 15, means 18, 18' for setting the appliance 34 in the horizontal plane and means 22, 29 for switching the appliance 34 in such a way that the desired treatment member 26, 15 of the appliance 34 can be used. The invention is characterized in that the long side of the equipment 34 directed towards the vehicle 10 is equipped with a pivotable, tubular, vertical axle 20 on which there is secured one end of an element 21, whose other end is firmly connected to a plate 22 which can be rotated by a piston/cylinder arrangement 29, and the said means 18, 18' for horizontal adjustment of the appliance are tensioned between the appliance 34 and the said plate 22. <IMAGE> |
